Limestone Family YMCA

Our Staff

Tonya Wenz – CEO

I have worked with the Limestone Family YMCA for more than 20 years and have served the past 12 years as the Executive Director. I am constantly amazed by the impact the Y makes in our community by providing so many quality programs and services to people of all ages. We are very proud to be the nation’s leading non-profit organization committed to strengthening the foundations of community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Born and raised in Greenup County KY, I moved to Maysville in 1994 after receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Morehead State University. My husband Eddie and I have two children. Katie age 17, and Jake age 12.  When I am not at the Y, I enjoy spending time with my family and reading a good book.

I am so thankful to be a part of an organization that is committed to making such an amazing impact in our community. I look forward to continuing to serve our members and participants as we change lives and build lasting relationships.

Jessica Workman - Senior Director

I have had the privilege of working at the Limestone Family YMCA for 18 years, where I've served as Business Manager and Senior Director.  I enjoy working with a dedicated group of staff and volunteers to further our cause of strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  I am committed to strengthening the communications and relationships with our members and participants; expanding our circle of members and friends; and helping with the day-to-day operations of our Y.

On a personal note, Vince and I reside in Lewis County and we have a 20 year old son Dalton and a dog named Dexter.  In my leisure, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating/camping & looking for antiques and crafts.

I received my Bachelor in Business Administration at Morehead State University in December 1997.  I also completed my Senior Director Certification through the Y-USA in May 2005 & the Executive Director Institute in July 2010.

Patti Clark - Child Care Director

My career with the YMCA began in 1990 after graduating from Mason County High School. I have really grown into adulthood at the Y. I always loved working with children and even as a teenage I had my own “babysitting business”. I was hired as the opener for the child care center in 1990 and was very familiar with the way the center worked since I had volunteered my junior and senior year of high school for the center before the Y building was built.

I have had the privilege of being part of a variety of programming at the Y. I have worked with the gymnastics program, youth and teen leaders programs, summer camp, youth sports, and family programs.

In my time here at the Y, I have also been given the opportunity to advance my education with the encouragement from coworkers.  In 2000, I received my Child Development Associate Certificate and 2004 my Associate in Applied Science.  I am now in the processes of becoming a state certified trainer for child care centers in Kentucky.

All these years later, I still love working at the Y. I’m now on my second generation of kids building lifelong friendships through child care and summer camps. I help to show that through the YMCA membership, that everyone, regardless of age/ability/background, is important and needs to be included.

I live in Maysville with my husband Kevin and children Brooke and Chandler.

I love having the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful association.
