Muscular Strength and Range of Motion-Members sit in specially designed SilverSneakers chairs; stomp their feet to upbeat music as they exercise to improve dexterity, muscle tone and cardiovascular health. The class utilizes resistance bands, rubber balls, and lightweights while working out in sitting and standing positions.
Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, head to toe stretching, and complete relaxation in a comfortable position.
This program is a blend of three Yoga styles creating harmony of movement for the whole body. It is performed from a seated and standing position to enhance the flow of energy created in combination with restorative breathing exercises. The lass offers a variety of safe and effective options designed to increase flexibility and balance to improve each individual's sense of well-being.
Join us for fun and exercise doing line dancing on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m.
This social group for the 50 and over crowd is a great way to make friends, get out of the house and go on exciting new adventures. The most recent trips have been to the LaCamedia Dinner Theater, Marysville Players, and Keeneland Race Course.
Once a month we celebrate birthdays with our friends at a different local restaurant. You can also join us for game days that include chair volleyball, senior bingo and euchre.
