Membership Types

As a membership organization, it's important to us that all people feel welcome at the YMCA and know that they belong. The Limestone Family YMCA does not require membership contracts and offers a variety of flexible membership options to meet your fitness, lifestyle and financial needs. Not all membership options are available online.  Here's a description:

Adult
An adult membership is for men and women ages 18-64

 
Senior
Senior Adult memberships are for men and women 65 years or older.

Senior Household
One person in the household age 65 or older

Teen
Memberships for boys and girls ages 13 to 18 years of age. A parent or legal guardian must sign all teen membership applications.

Youth
Memberships for boys and girls 10 years of age to 12 years of age. A parent or legal guardian must sign all youth membership applications. Those younger than 10 years of age will not be permitted into a YMCA branch without a member 18 years or older.

College membership
College memberships are available to all full time college students. Prior to joining please provide verification of being a full time student. Verification must show the student's name, the schools name, the semester, the total number of hours and year registered. For more information contact the YMCA.

Other Membership Options.
The following are memberships that require verification and therefore are not available for online membership registration. Please contact your local branch for more details

• Silver Sneakers
  The SilverSneakers Fitness Program offers older adults free membership (with participating insurance companies) to the YMCA of Central Kentucky and access to group exercise classes that focus on improving strength, flexibility and coordination. For information about SilverSneakers, contact the YMCA.
• Corporate partners
  Please provide proof of employment if you work for a Limestone Family YMCA Corporate Partner.
• Financial Assistance
  The YMCA offers financial assistance for those in need. Financial assistance changes to your monthly draft can be made after you join by completing the application process and visiting your YMCA home branch.
